This valve is intended for use on Department of Transportation (DOT) cylinders, excluding Type DOT-4L cylinders, charged with nitrogen not exceeding 2,200/2640 PSI. The valves include a listed high pressure gauge.
Each valve is provided with a rupture disc device, Type CG-1, which is a non-reclosing pressure-relief device actuated by inlet static pressure, and designed to release excess pressure of a normal charged cylinder, when exposed to abnormal conditions, by bursting a pressure containing disk. Model N100 is designed to burst at a maximum pressure of 3,360PSI at 160 Degree Fahrenheit. Model N100-4 is designed to burst at a maximum pressure of 4000 psig at 160?F and relief device has been investigated in accordance with the Compressed Gas Associate (CGA) Pressure Relief Device Standard S-1.1, Part 1, Cylinders for Compressed Gases, for use on non-insulated DOT cylinders for non-liquefied gases, not exceeding 146.9 lb, Model N200QR4, water capacity.
