Loud with the blanks, super loud with the blanks and a bird banger cartridge. Very effective. Only issue is that it doesn't go off on.the first pull of the trigger. Have to pull the trigger twice or three times for the gun to go off.

This with the blanks is the best thing to scare predators out of the yard living in the country this launcher is unreal.

Small unit but works great. Easy to use and quick to load. Need to order blanks to go with launcher.
