The most economical way to protect fire dept. connection inlets is with Plastic Breack Caps. The PBC uses eye bolts and j-hooks to secure the cap via the inlet's pin lugs. The PBC fits 2-1/2" inlets and is easily broken with a hydrant/spanner wrench. Red.
