Brook's Quick Mount Fasteners for hood penetration requirements. NFPA 96 requires any penetration in the hood exterior to be sealed with a listed device or by a liquid-tight, continuous external weld. The QMT is a UL listed product for mounting hardware in the hood or duct. By using the QUICK MOUNT FASTENERS and SEAL FAST ADAPTERS, you can meet code without the use of welding equipment. Simple three step installation. Drill hole with a QDRILL, insert QMT through the hole, and clinch using a QMTOOL. Patent Pending.
